Back in 2013, PRS guitars gave birth to the S2 Series guitars. Beginning with only three models, the inspiration for the line was simple. Give the players all of the best PRS attributes in brand new, sleek designs. That series eventually grew to more than a dozen models and is one of the most played by guitarists today.

A decade after the first S2’s were made to be played, PRS has decided it’s time for a celebration. The Limited Edition 10^th Anniversary S2 McCarty 594’s are new, slightly modified renditions of the original S2 builds. Keeping with tradition, they are mahogany body guitars with a maple top and 24.594” scale, but what makes this limited run extra special are the unique changes PRS has made – a Cuban Mahogany neck, and their electronic guts. This limited McCarty has two 58/15 LT (low turn) humbucker pickups with late 50’s voicing, that are also capable of vintage single-coil tones by engaging the push/pull tone controls. Thanks to its versatile electronics, this guitar is a tone chameleon, ready to blend right into whatever musical environment its asked to live in.
